Sun Heim Shin-Yokohama

A new property has been added to the list of available units for renters. This property, apartment No. b107, is on the first floor of a publicly built property. Some advantages for renters is that you won't need to pay the key money (reikin). Even better, if you like the place and you want to renew the contract, there is no lease renewal fee, which is pretty unusual for most rental units in Japan.


The building has an elevator, security cameras in common spaces, and the balconies face towards the sun, which is a welcomed feature especially during the cold winter months. Your laundry will also dry a lot faster and have the fresh smell!


The layout of this apartment may be slightly different than the actual room itself, but pretty close if not the same. Lots of flooring throughout the unit. In the middle of the apartment is a Japanese-style tatami mat room. You can use this room as an extra bedroom, a guest room, or as a place to relax Japanese style! Of course, not everyone likes tatami. If that fits you, you can always purchase a so-called wooden carpet that will fit a six-tatami mat room wall-to-wall. You can then use the room for any purpose you like without worrying about having your furniture damage the tatami mats.

All of the three main living spaces have windows with a sunny exposure. Great for winter, but might be a little warm during the summer months. This unit would be great for a small family, a couple with no children, or a very comfortable space for a single person.
